Duration & Appointment Timing
Most clients repeat this this service every 3 to 4 months to keep the high lights looking fresh. We recommend having the root tint touched up in between, every 3 to 6 weeks.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Use colour-safe shampoo and conditioner. Apply heat protection before styling and avoid high heat. Rinse cool to help lock in tone.
If you swim or spend time in the sun, use UV protection and a gentle clarifier to prevent dullness.
Rebook when regrowth reaches around 1 to 2 cm. If grey coverage needs increase, the tint formula and highlight placement can be adjusted at your next visit.

I’ve been getting my hair done at Butler & Lawler for a while now and it is always a great experience. Yvonne is a master or colour, even when it’s growing out it still looks natural, and Debbie couldn’t give a bad cut if she tried, she’s also great with tips on how to manage your hair at home. Yvonne and Debbie are also really good company and conversation flows easily. I don’t know the rest of the staff so well but everyone is polite and friendly. I always get nice compliments about my hair after a visit to Butler & Lawler and can highly recommend the salon.
